Stroll through the pedestrianised area in Stubbekøbing, where you will find shops and boutiques. There are also cycle paths in the area, and from the harbour you can take the ferry Ida to Bogø. You can also spend a day in the Medieval Centre in Nykøbing, where there is also a good selection of restaurants. Marielyst on the east coast of the island is a beautiful beach with fine sand, and nearby is Bøtø Nature Park, which is also worth a visit.
