The property has a lift but you still need to carry your heavy luggage up a flight of stairs because the lift stop in between the floors. This is badly advertised they should mention this on their site because elderly people have trouble carrying suitcases up the stairs. Also would not be suitable for disabled persons. The bathroom needed an update as the wall heater did not work and the toilet made gurgling noises all night and the leeks and flooded the bathroom floor.

Functional. Rooms are not sound proof so lots of noise. Decor and furniture is tired. Linen all clean but carpet stained. Good location for town, and a nice breakfast.

We stayed in Stuttgart for Christmas Markets. City Hotel was conveniently located near public transportation in a quiet, safe area. We were able to travel easily to other nearby towns for the Chocolate Festival and more Christmas Markets.

Very good little hotel. Reasonable price. Only stayed for 1 night but staff were very friendly and the breakfast selection was excellent. A little dated but this did not bother us at all. Happy to recommend this hotel.

Stuttgart Trip

Really good small hotel for the price. Three stops from the main train station so well situated. Had to get up and out early two of the three mornings I was there but the breakfast had had was excellent as was the breakfast room. I would certainly stay again if I travel to Stuttgart again.

It is a small hotel for backpack travelers. Like a hostel, not the price but the quality. Limited breakfast. Check in staff member was the only positive. Breakfast is limited and staff member was not friendly.

Reception was friendly Car parking turned out to be 2 spaces at the rear so parking was some distance away on the street. The hotel room was small and clean but very hot Noise from the street until after midnight Breakfast was OK
