Fantastic Relaxing Break

The stay was fantastic............. the cottage was lovely and only a very short walk to the very nice rural town centre, plus plenty of options for country walks. Would definitely book again.

A very well appointed property with friendly and helpful owners. It has all of the conveniences you'd expect and is well located for access to shops, pubs etc as well as giving immediate access for walks which is important for dog owners. The property is also dog friendly.

Nice Property

Cliftons Cottage is a very old annex to a large imposing house close to the centre of Clare. The owner is very friendly and helpful and the property location is excellent. The huge bed and bedroom is very comfortable but the bath and shower arrangement in the en-suite is next to useless for anyone over 3 feet in height. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped but there is virtually nowhere to store foodstuffs other than in the fridge. The lounge is nice but the sofa is extremely hard and not very comfortable plus the TV screen is tiny by current standards. Overall a very nice place and would be happy enough to return, but with a few tweaks it would be great.
