Feel the mountain breeze and escape to this newly renovated 1966 lakeside "A-Frame" cabin located in private Lake Glenwood in Vernon, NJ. This cozy 2BR 1Bath offers a relaxing getaway just minutes away from Mountain Creek Ski, Golf Courses, Hiking Trails, and much more.

Whether you enjoy the slopes in the winter, lake in the summer this A-Frame has all the amenities you need:

IMPORTANT NOTE:
★ If you’re booking with us during the snowy months (usually December through April, sometimes November and May as well) we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you drive an all-wheel drive vehicle, as the gravel driveway is on an incline up to the house and is long. It’s plowed and salted regularly, but we can’t always guarantee exact plow timing.

★ Although beautiful, the staircase at the cabin is a narrow (see photo in our listing) and is the only way to get to the upper level. We know that some people may find them difficult to climb and come down from, particularly older guests who struggle with stairs. It may also be difficult to carry large bags/suitcases up the staircase so you may want to plan to have a smaller bag ready to bring up. The upstairs has a queen bedroom and a loft area overlooking the lake with cozy chairs and books.

★ Pet fee of $50.00; please state if you plan on bringing your furry friend and size/breed. Dogs must be leashed at all times outside. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON BEACH MANDATED BY STATE LAW.

Lovely! Exactly as pictured and very well equipped. Really nicely remodeled but VERY steep stairs upstairs and downstairs to game room. We were just two so stayed on main floor but if you we had company it would be a challenge to use the room upstairs.

The house was very clean and inviting loved the kitchen. The game room was fun and the porch was nice with the lights. I wish we could’ve used the fire pit, but it rained the entire weekend but it was a nice getaway. Also our dogs love the property.

The place is very cute and comfortable. Pretty good virw of the lake. The road leading to the house is a little difficulty without all wheel drive particularly when it rains.There were no recycle bins at the red barn.

Relaxing Getaway with a Cozy Vibe and Fun Amenities

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this A-frame cabin! The views were nothing short of stunning, and the peaceful, calming vibe made it the perfect retreat. I loved spending evenings around the fire pit, and the game room added such a fun touch to the experience. Being pet-friendly was a huge bonus, and it made the trip even more enjoyable. The owner has truly created a special place here, and I can’t wait to return for another relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Ski Winter Getaway

Loved the home, so beautiful.. Couldnt enjoy the outdoor area due to ice, but would definitely go back again when it is warm out to enjoy the outdoor space. Gorgeous views!!!

Quick romantic getaway

The house is beautiful and very clean. Fun game room. Excellent view of the lake. Many sitting areas to enjoy. They provide games and books as well. The owner Neil answered all our questions promptly. Local food leaves a lot to be desired. Definitely AVOID Sussex Sit n Chat diner and avoid Silvio’s Villa (food was severely overpriced and tasted like prison cafeteria food. )
