This cabin is a true gem - we rented it for 3 nights in the middle of March. We didn’t ski

House was very well kept for its age. It worked for what our group needed. Plenty of space for a group of 10. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because we had to shovel the snow ourselves on the driveway edge, sidewalk, and porch so that we didn't track snow all through the entryway. I understand the owners live out of the area though, so this is really on the property management company, especially since the snow was there for weeks before our trip.

Our stay was amazing! The house was perfect for our weekend! It was very clean and everything was very organized!

The furniture and bedding were relatively new and in good condition; there were/are new floors throughout the house. However, it did not appear as though anyone had actually dusted or done a deep clean in some time; we ran the dishes and glassware through the dishwasher before using. I would add that even though the kitchen and not been updated for years (the cabinets could benefit from a cleaning and a coat of paint inside and outside), there was a nice assortment of utensils and cookware -- we cooked all of our meals so that was a real plus.Things could be bumped up a notch by adding a shelf or two in the bathrooms just to have a place for a toothbrush.The outdoor space was delightful however, the house is listed as sleeping 6 adults but there were only 2 outdoor chairs; fortunately, we brought canvas chairs and were able to sit around the fire pit and truly enjoy the lake. A note should be added in the "things you need to bring" for chairs.
