Our room was very comfortable. We stayed with friends (6 other couples). We all had a great time and were well looked after. The bar staff (I think one was named Oliver, or Olly) who stayed back late to prepare our drinks for new years were great, helpful and in good spirit. We used the facilities (swimming and gym): all very adequate (the pool is not deep, but a good length. Food was fine, but importantly service was good.

Excellent weekend break, staff very friendly and efficient, food delicious especially the breakfast selection and quality. Vey relaxing atmosphere. Bedroom good size, comfortable bed, good linen and towels. Bathroom and bedroom both very clean The Drift Away massage in the Spa was excellent and encouraged the relaxing mood needed. The general decor is a little tired but to be expected when the economy leaves little to be invested in a business. The team could not do more and the accommodation and food were good value. We shall be back 😊

I sent email to you no response when we checked in we paid you nearly 70 pounds for room in house when checked in hotel they put us in original room bad smell in room moved us next day to room next door exactly the same smell moved to other room in there 10mins flushed toilet started back pounding into bathroom eventually got new room so in three days had 4rooms never emptied suitcases total disaster from start to finish not happy

Restaurant food was amazing. Breakfast was typical of these kind of hotels and was fine. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, I am not a big fan of synthetic pillows but for one night it was ok. Only criticism I have is about the bath drainage system as when I was taking a shower my feet up to my ankles was in a water as the drainage was so slow.

The room was out of the main building around a small courtyard, it reminded me of a Butlins resort. There was a lot of blood outside the door along the path that wasn't very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable but it looked tired and could have done with a refresh. The staff were all lovely, the food was good and there was plenty of car park space.

The breakfast and staff made this hotel get 5 stars. The rooms were clean, but basic. We used it just for a place to sleep and then have breakfast as a base for visiting the Cotswolds. The restaurant, grounds and serivce was exceptional, and made up for the smaller, basic room.
