Clean, spotless room. Comfy bed. Lots of pillows. Bathroom a bit dated. Big TV. Very quiet apart from cars going past. Everything you need in the room. Couldn’t fault it, would stay again

Rooms very tired looking. TV ok. Accessible room poor with very low beds. Very limited number of disabled parking spaces. Noise from bar outside space below room 186 was excessive on 2 nights till after 11pm. Stayed in other new build Village hotels which were excellent however ic this was typical of all the old de vere hotel refits then would avoid in future.

Terrible pillows

This is our got to hotel in Swindon. It’s usually perfect, however, this time, the bed was awful. So hard and pillows were either too hard or lumpy. Also, the sink wouldn’t drain water away.

The room was in poor disrepair with a light hanging off the wall. I also ordered food and it had to be refunded as it never arrived. We also checked out really early as the people in the next room had a baby that screamed all night!

Not perfect, but an enjoyable stay.

This hotel is look just a little tired now, but it's still buzzing with life. The room was comfortable, reception staff very helpful too. Breakfast was varied, though there was no porridge available on either of the two days we were there. On one of the days, my pain au chocolate seemed like it had been microwaved for far too long. When I bit into it, it was far too hard, and not at all fresh. Very disappointing. The next day though, the pastries were very fresh.

Hotel dated and in desperate need of refurbishment. Old and dirty carpets, curtains, furniture. Broken tiles in the bathroom. Pool area old. Tiles falling off. Steam room out of order. The sauna was recently renewed, at least.
