Could be great with just a few fixes

Ground floor room, was clean and new and wasn't cramped. Lino floor, not carpet. Decent range of quality appliances in the room. New quiet, efficient and discreet reverse cycle heating/cooling - just takes a few moments to kick on. However the window leaked cold air and busy road noise from around the panels and particularly through the louvres' lever hole even when closed up as tight as they go. The room door also did not block any noise, and faced the dining area and entrance so a lot of noise came from there, too. The shower screen glass panel didn't do much to stop water getting all over the bathroom floor and even out into the main room. The shower itself was great though - lots of volume, pressure and plenty of hot water at a consistent temperature, unlike the hot/cold/hot/cold of a lot of hotels.

Great hotel to stay

Great Hotel near bus stop and woolworth. Friendly staff and quick check in. Room has all needed to stay short or long term. Curtains is not blacklight cover so still strain of light coming in. Aircon inconsistent but as winter time so not too bad. Overall is a great and conformtable hotel

The rooms are excellent, very tastefully furnished. Clean and presented beautifully. Super comfy bed and sofa. Ours was the Superior King. Staff were even able to tell us where we could source the sofa if we wished to purchase one of our own. Staff were fantastic, nothing was a bother, very helpful with information about the area. The breakfast facilities were an added surprise. The staff running that service deserve a medal as they were flat out keeping up to the demand. None the less done with a smile and very helpful. Parking facilities are easily accessed with lift services direct to each floor. Card swipe for access could be a bit further out, would be a bit of a drama in inclement weather. Location has easy walking access to restaurants in the Haberfield and other local areas. Bus service to Sydney is at the front door and 20 minutes will have you at Central. Take away meals can be orderered for delivery to the Hotel and you are welcome to use the Breakfast/Bar area facilities once delivered. Gym and Spa facilities are located adjacent to the Breakfast/Bar area if you wish to work it off afterwards. All in all a hidden little Gem located in a convenient location with easy access to transport, shopping and restaurants. We would highly recommend the Haberfield Hotel for accommodation for your trip to Sydney.

Near new hotel, stylish and comfortable. Would stay again. Nice, basic, complimentary continental breakfast and they just started doing bacon and eggs on toast for $14 which was lovely, well cooked...but only Sat Sun morning for now. Bus stop right out front for a trip into town, about35mins.

It was a tidy and clean hotel, I didn't know you had to pay another $200 security deposit but got it credited as soon as I left . Bathroom and beds were nice but in all honesty in the single beds room I booked on the 2nd floor the bathroom extraction fan which you can't turn off (only low or high) kept me awake for awhile!
