If you're looking for something cheap and lay your head it's not the worst place to be, but it's far from being anything fancy. The beds are at least comfortable, but the pillows aren't the greatest. There was minimal power outlets in the room we had, as the person installing their new furniture forgot to set up the outlets at the headboards and on the stand with the TV, so bring an extension cord. The internet was hit or miss the days we were there, not sure if that just depends on how many people are staying there. And as a 6 year old put it, that's a terrible spot for the toilet paper holder.

Do not recommend, photos misleading.

The pictures on the website are misleading. This space was old, smelled of must or rot, and was not equipped with supplies to make the stay comfortable. We could not wait to get out of there. The room was very cold and although we could control the temperature in the room, it did not work. We asked for blankets and only received one with holes in it. We were told there was no other blankets on the property. The room and hallway were dark and dreary, we asked for another light and the lamp we were given barely added enough light to see. Although the rooms look renovated, the quality is poor, the cleaning qualitywas also poor, with dead bugs found in the corners. The hallway floors were stained and the door frames chipped. The gym equipped was so old and broken that it is dangerous to use. The staff we met were friendly and tried to help as much as possible but it seemed like they did not know or were not provided with enough tools to help. No breakfast was included in the stay and the option of the restaurant onsite was expensive for what was being offered. I would not recommend this hotel and am disappointed in the experience because the photos looked very nice.

Good stay

We only stayed here for one night on the way to the Marine Atlantic ferry. The biggest issue we had was the moisture in the room. It was already humid, but once everyone showered, the air was hot and wet and there was no air exchange in the bathroom. There was a heating/cooling unit on the wall, but even with the air turned to cold, the room was still warm and sticky. We were on the bottom floor and the window was not able to open. Other than that, the room was clean and my kids really enjoyed the pool area!

This is a good establishment with solid basic standards. It is a little dated, but is in the process of renovation. The staff was universally very pleasant and accommodating. It is suitable for someone who wants a good room at a better than average price.

I was a bit nervous for the stay here after seeing some of the past reviews. But i must say I was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean with a fairly modern setup and the staff were friendly.

In our room there was a card telling us about the hotel. On the card it told us about charging stations at our bedside. Neither side worked. When we walked into the room we noticed that the tv was on. There’s no cable just Bell satellite. This didn’t work either. The tv remote control was missing. We found charging stations behind the tv. These didn’t work either.

Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms with comfortable beds and linens. Only complaint would be the room could use more lighting. As there is only one small lamp and there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom so it was very humid and wet.
