Creek Cottage - Leura Couples Getaway

This cottage was built in 2020 and is luxurious, light and spacious. Set on a large block of land and built next to Govetts Creek, a continually flowing and pristine waterway. The cottage is quiet and private with a northerly and sunny aspect. We have thought of you (our guests) in our design and inclusions. Offering high cathedral ceilings, fully equipped kitchen including a Bosch washing machine and dryer (available on request), gas log fire, lime washed floorboards (no shoes but socks provided), 55 inch TV with Foxtel and Netflix, Wi-Fi, luxurious 2 person bath, separate shower, new king size bed and a 5 x 3 meter covered deck overlooking your own private running creek. Waking up to the sound of the babbling creek is so relaxing and helps you to unwind and let the hustle and bustle of city life be an afterthought. This is a haven for relaxation, reconnection and resetting. In addition we have a natural spring (so bring your water bottles to drink this amazing and pure water).

Imagine arriving at Creek Cottage for your stay on a cold winter’s day to the aroma of a slow cooked home made meal?

The lamps will be on, fire lit, your table will be set and the cottage cosy and warm. Your meal will be ready and all you need to do is pour your drinks.

We offer a small but delicious choice of slow cooked meals for your consideration
* Syrian chicken mild curry with accompaniments and fluffy basmati rice
* vegetarian mild curry with organic vegetables cooked in rich stock with fluffy basmati rice.
* both options include a main and desert cost is $125
If you would like to indulge in a massage, please let us know as we have employed an experienced massage therapist who will come to the cottage for your comfort (you will need to book in advance as she is a busy therapist). 1 hour massage (in house) for women $120, 1 hour massage for men $150 & Facials $95. Please note our massage therapist has 20+ years experience and has Cert IV qualifications in deeply therapeutic/remedial/craniotomy sacral and reflexology treatments.

For other beauty treatments we are aligned with Sanctuary Skin & Beauty in Leura. Again bookings recommended.

Creek Cottage is only 1.4 km to quaint Leura Village with stunning shops, restaurants, bars and transport.

My husband and I booked this property for a weekend getaway for our first wedding anniversary. Our communication with Kim and Ian was so easy, they are such great hosts. We ordered the winter warmer package for the night we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious. It saved us stopping for fast food on the way or rushing to have a late dinner, as we made our way there after work. The location was great and it was easy to get around the Blue Mountains. It was lovely to sit out on the veranda and listen to the birds and the creek flow. The cottage had everything we needed and was so cosy. We loved the high ceilings. There were so many little touches to the property, that made it the best property I have stayed at, from the fresh fruit and chocolate to the fresh loaf of bread, and the lovely hand written note congratulating us on our anniversary. I cannot recommend booking this property enough. Thank you Kim and Ian for making our first anniversary so lovely. We will definitely stay again next time we visit the Blue Mountains.

We had a lovely cozy stay in this very comfortable and tastefully decorated cottage. Lots of thoughtful treats, and every consideration to keep us warm was provided - good heating, floor heating in the bathroom, heater and electric blankets in the bedroom, and heated towel rail (certainly more thought given to this than other places we’ve stayed). We would definitely choose to stay here if ever we visit the blue mountains again.

Relaxing getaway with girlfriend

I was looking for an ideal place to relax, drink wine and stay warm on our romantic winter getaway ...and the cottage was way more than what I'd hoped. Clean, crisp, cozy and spacious at the same time. The photos are 100% accurate and I will never forget the perfume from the daphne growing beside the cottage. My girlfriend thought it was the most romantic getaway which made me so happy.

Kim & Ian were terrific hosts and couldn’t do enough for us from the moment we arrived. This include many little welcome gifts to give it that homely touch. The property is probably even better than it reads and we couldn’t have been happier there. Location was great for all things we needed and wanted to do in Blue Mountains. The bonus of Foxtel, smart tv and wifi was great. Comfortable beds and lounges with plenty of blankets, fire place and bathroom floor heating. Kitchen is fully equipped and a bbq on the deck. We had such a great time and already are planning to return with friends. You wont be disappointed when you stay here!

Simply perfect

From the homemade muffins, to the electric blanket on the bed....and from listening to the morning birdsong on the sunny veranda, to being able to cook a storm in the well equipped kitchen after long walks in the surrounding countryside. It was simply perfect and everything you need to enjoy nature, fill your cup up and spend quality time with the person you love in such a remarkable place.

beautiful little cottage in idyllic forest setting with its own babbling brook.everything just schmick- they've thought of it all- clean, nicely furnished, cosy with gas heater, A/C and all mod cons.fridge, freezer, microwave, cooktop, oven and well supplied with the little things; milk, S&P, condiments, etc. etc. a little extra: hot X buns, bread and chocciescold and rainy when we were there which made this cosy little retreat even more welcome Highly recommended

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location

We had the most wonderful stay at Creek Cottage. The cottage is absolutely stunning and set in a beautiful garden with a little stream. There were some lovely welcoming touches and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. It is a short walk into Leura village where there are some great shops, cafes and restaurants.Cannot recommend highly enough!

We had three nights at Creek Cottage. The cottage was comfortable, very clean and well appointed. The decor was tasteful and felt relaxed, cosy and tranquil. Light and ventilation was excellent and it was delightfully quiet. We appreciated the full size stove, generous bath and underfloor heating in the bathroom, and the king size bed. Weekend away

Creek Cottage was exactly as described. The cottage is in a wonderful natural setting. We loved the sound of the gentle water flow along the creek and the numerous birds who actively relish the natural environment. So many shades of green - makes for a wonderful outlook, especially from the back patio.We loved our stay, albeit would have liked to spend more time.
