Located in North Katoomba in a quiet leafy residential area, Shiralee's Rest is perched high on a very large gently sloping garden block that overlooks the National Park treetops and is a regular flightpath stop for all the beautiful and talkative native birds.
This home is a tasteful blend of unique, modern, and rustic with a distinct mountains feel and really is a lovely and well-appointed holiday home. The interior is graced with stylish finishings and glorious hardwood timber floors throughout the main areas. The open plan fully equipped modern kitchen unfolds onto the dining area that has a large table to feast on and extends onto the large back deck.
Central heating keeps this home effortlessly toasty and for those wonderful wintery times, cosy up to the combustion log fireplace. A firewood starter pack is provided for your first night.
A truly family-friendly home that is fenced, where the kids can play in the garden safely and bounce on the trampoline or sway on the garden swing. The sunroom has a large array of games and toys to keep kids entertained, and the bunk room is a novelty for the kids.
The home offers a fresh modern bathroom that is clean and spacious with heat lamps and a luxurious single-person bath. The shower is over the bath and there are two toilets.
Feed the colourful rosellas and king parrots plus a variety of other birdlife from the spacious back deck overlooking the tree line of the National Park.

The property is only for use by paid in-house guests that match the number of guests that are on the reservation.

Please note that this property has a very strict no-party and no-noise disruption policy. Under no circumstances is this a party house or venue.
The neighbours are in very close proximity as it is a very quiet and peaceful residential area.
Please note there will be an immediate eviction without a refund if there is a breach of our terms conditions.
PAYMENT POLICY
Bookings are only confirmed once a minimum deposit of 50% is paid 30 days or greater to the arrival booking date.
The balance payment plus the refundable security bond are due 30 days to the arrival booking date.
Full payment plus the refundable security bond are required when booked less than 30 days to the arrival booking date.
Please note that a non-refundable 2.9% Stripe transaction fee applies to all payments including the bond.
Payments will appear as *SEC ACCOMMODATED BYRON BAY/LENNOX HEAD NSW* on your bank statement.
By making payment/s for your booking it is deemed you have read and agree to our terms and conditions.
Bond refunds are processed 7 days after check-out and may take 5-10 days to appear in your bank account.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations 60 days or greater to the arrival date, incur a $5.00 non-refundable channel manager fee.
Cancellations 30 - 59 days to the arrival date will forfeit 50% of the full tariff.
Cancellations within 30 days to the arrival date will forfeit 100% of the full tariff.
If the person who booked is prohibited by law to travel due to a COVID-19 lockdown, bookings can be transferred up to a year in advance, with one free date change.
