We arrived 5 December for a 4 night stay. Staff do not wear name badges, Hotel Guru did not write his name on the room card, Our room was 408. During the evening lighting and air conditioning turned off except for TV. My husband was opening room door to go to lobby to report issue but the power turned on, we thought perhaps it was a power surge. At 4am, morning of 6 December I could not turn any lights on so as to go to bathroom, air con was also off. Later at 10.30 am the same morning power once again switched off except for TV. Husband again pressed on door handle to go to lobby to report issue. The nameless, Front desk staff, dismissed the issue, they would not believe him, the young woman was especially disinterested, she and a "no Name" Guru said the power works on sensors, so there was no problem. He told them that power returns only when pressing down on the room door handle. The issue not taken seriously. The suggested option was to move to another room or leave the hotel. We had no time to take up hose options,we were attempting to shower and get ready for an event at Bexley. Problem continued another lady on the front desk with reddish brown hair took the problem seriously when my husband reported it again. 9 Dec we told the "no name" Guru and the disinterested female, the only way to turn power back on was by pressing the room door handle down. I told them it was dangerous for people at night. He told me sensor for room power is placed in AirCon panel. Oh! really
