Budapest Intercontinental Stay

Fantastic location and amazing views. Comfy beds and good air conditioning. Spacious room and no noise heard from adjoining rooms or corridors. Breakfast was good with a lovely variety of foods and cooked breakfast Service was slow. Dinner at night was disappointing with too much addition of heavy sauces with onion and tomatoes. Prawn dish had way too much rich sauce-couldn’t taste the prawns. Roast chicken was tasty and done well but accompanying vegetables drowned in soy sauce. Rice was bland. Wine and beer at corso terrace bar was pleasant with good service Reception-check in & out was very efficient as was help with baggage Room isn’t soundproofed to outside noise and loud bass thumping of outside music heard for hours at night from our Riverview room

Best location and super comfortable sty

The location and view is simply unbeatable. Walking distance from a lot of shops, restaurants, and attractions. Even though the hotel is on the older side, its still well maintained and the buffet breakfast was delicious. Used the pool and it was great as well. Highly recommend and no wonder its the top hotel in the area.

Great location. Maid service was terrible, didn’t make the bed properly just threw the comforter over the top of unmade sheets. Didn’t replace Kleenex tissues, toilet paper Left dirty cups and dishes in the room after being serviced

The room was beautiful with spectacular views of the Danube. Comfortable bed, good shower, etc. I wasn’t happy that they wouldn’t give me IHG rewards credit claiming that because I booked through Hotels.com I was ineligible. The Lebanese restaurant food was very good but when I asked for waiter for water he insisted there was only bottled water yet he brought 2 pitchers of water to the table next to me.

Stunning view of Buda castle!

Our room had a fantastic view of Buda castle which was a nice surprise on arrival. The hotel is really well located to explore. You can walk across the bridge to Buda and there are nearby tram and metro stations.
