Clean, compact and comfortable room. You won’t be spending a lot of time in your room. The area is very busy at night and there are many souvenir shops and great places to pick up the milk crispy donut, taiwanese fried chicken, bubble tea and a little place down the street where you can see staff making xiao long baos and steamed buns. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast included western and japanese options which were great to try. Great hotel for the Ximendeng experience.

The hotel is in an excellent location, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. The bed was very comfortable, and the extra-firm pillows were a real bonus—they even helped ease my acid reflux.

Clean room, safe hotel, quiet, friendly staff, very good air quality, also provided a dehumidifier in room. Separate rooms for toilet and bath spaces. The shower area is an area outside of the tub (likely, Japanese style). Breakfast buffet is good with more Taiwanese and Japanese style food. There are also lots of eatery around the hotel. Hotel front office even told us no discount if pre-purchase breakfast with the hotel reservation. (Can purchase on site) We had one member not eating the pre-purchased breakfast for several days due to jet lag hence the feeling that we had wasted money. Free water, tea, coffee till 10pm at the lobby. Standard Taiwanese hotel with in-room water pot, tea bags, coffee and a small refrigerator and safe. We did use the laundry facility. Detergent is dispensed in the machine with the wash which is about 30 minutes, then drying about 50 minutes. Does cost $50NT each. Usually, not very crowded (as it does take time to do laundry). Great location at Ximeng Ding downtown for shopping and dining and near MRT entrance. Maybe one downside that I agree with other reviewers is the room tends to be small by US standard. Also, they do not allowed eating at the lobby which is a little inconvenient if meeting up with friends. Checking in is on 6th floor, then walk past the lobby another elevator takes you to the rooms with key pass as security measure. Hotel entrance is on Han Ko Jie where the taxi should take you.
