Pleasantly surprised by the space and cleanliness of the hotel. Location is perfect for quick trips to Xi Men Ding and access to the mrt station.

The room is clean, but the we found very obvious stains on the towels. Friendly staff. Excellent location walkable to Ximending. Access to two MRT lines. Hotel right outside the Ximen station exit 2, but if you are carrying suitcases, use exit 3 with escalator.

Easily one of my fav hotels around the world! The hotel location was superb, walkable to XiMenDing shopping street and the train station is just downstairs! The room was super clean and spacious, stayed on the 3rd floor yet couldn’t hear any sounds from outside - making it a restful and comfy stay. Many shelves and tables available in the room as well. Guest services were helpful and prompt in providing room amenities whenever requested. One minor downside is that there were only 3 lifts available across 14 floors and the waiting time for them could take a while especially during peak movement hours (e.g checkin/checkout) Overall, a really good stay at Sotetsu Grand Fresa XiMen and I’d definitely recommend it to friends visiting Taipei. Thank you for the great hospitality!

More expensive than surrounding hotels, but well worth the cost. Bed and all rooms were clean. Staff are very nice. However, taiwan new law doesn't permit hotels to offer toothbrush and toothpaste anymore. Luckily we brought. Metro is right around the corner, and ximending night market is right across the street as well as a lot of eating places. Would definitely stay here again.
