his boutique hotel is a gem! It’s located right in the center of a charming, upscale shopping and dining area, just blocks from the beautiful Bayshore Boulevard — perfect for exercise or a scenic stroll. Parking was easy with a lot just behind the property. The room could not have been more stylish or well-appointed. The linens and bed were extremely comfortable, and there was plenty of space — even enough to entertain a few friends for drinks and appetizers before heading out to dinner in the neighborhood. The bathroom layout was thoughtful and elegant, and the in-room snacks and drinks were a great touch. The hotel’s bar area is beautifully designed, a great spot to relax before or after going out. While there isn’t a gym on-site, there is a safe and convenient facility located right across the street, which makes it easy to keep up with workouts while traveling. I loved how convenient everything was: grocery stores and a CVS just a few blocks away in case you forgot anything, and only about 20 minutes from Tampa Airport. I can’t wait to stay here again — it’s the perfect blend of comfort, style, and location.

Boutique hotel in a great location - nearby coffee shops, shopping, restaurants, close to Bay for walk/run in the morning. A couple of free water bottles in the room would go a long way. Did not receive VIP benefits and a little disorganized at the front desk for which I had to deal with an issue after our checkout.

We stayed at this property last year and loved it! This year it was sub par. We had issues with our toilet running and were told to jiggle it to fix it. We asked for sheets for the pull out sofa and they were stained. Our key stopped working halfway through our stay. The doors downstairs where no one is attending are always unlocked. The refrigerator is unusable unless you empty the entire thing full of beverages in glass bottles for sale. The Spectrum tv is very difficult to navigate. The cold water in the sink is always warm. The room was very crowded and we had to move the table up against the bed to use the pull out sofa leaving no room to walk. The microwave was aesthetic but difficult to operate. We were very disappointed because our stay last year was amazing. The staff last year was so friendly and this time completely different. It is as if it is under new ownership.

The Perfect Hyde Park Hotel

Absolutely perfect! Our only suggestion would be to raise the temperature in the lobby. It's too cold in that area. Otherwise, the rooms and services were exceptional.
