This was a surprisingly pleasant stay. It is a motel and you get what you pay for, but everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were nice. We had plenty of towels and the shower comes with basic essentials. Check in was quick and easy.

The room was clean and we didn't have any issues. Room doors open to the outside, not an interior hallway, and people tend to be louder when they're having conversations in the morning. Don't expect to sleep in if you stay here.

The night staff when we checked in was very friendly. I believe his name was Darryl. They did help us by letting us leave our bags behind the desk when we wanted to venture out since we needed to grab some things before we went to our cruise. For this I will say the staff was friendly. Our only problem was I believe we found a bug in our room which looked like it could be a roach, also kinda had a weird smell when you walked in the door.

The room was ok, I didn't like the fact that there was no elevator in the building they put us in. That was not known in advance. The lady (older white lady) that checked us in was fabulous, the co-worker (middle aged black woman) was rude (sorry I didn't get their names). I asked if we could be moved to a room with the elevator in the building and was told no due to the type of reservation we had. Then I requested a ground floor and that's when the black lady chimed in very rudely saying "no, you got the room you requested, there are no changes!" I used to work in the hotel business and there's always ways to make your guest satisfied, that was not it. I wasn't rude to her nor did I raise my voice. I simply said non of this was known. Definitely will not recommend this location to friends or family.

The staff was attentive and courteous. The 2nd floor room was awkward to get to. The open concept made it noisy. We heard the 4am trash pick up and everyone rolling luggage. The room was clean and what st needed.
