The hotel is one of the lowest quality Marriott hotels Ive ever stayed in. The room shower was dilapidated with broken shower curtain, dripping faucet, luke warm water, cracked and worn shower wall and broken soap dispenser. The elevator security key card did not work, allowing anyone to take the elevator up without a key card. The room had small roaches as well. Overall the hotel needs to be updated and redone. Too many makeshift fixes to things. The Courtyard Marriott across the shared courtyard was well kept and up to date.

The staff were all very nice, polite and respectful. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and spacious and the beds were great. The street is extremely loud sounded like drag racing during the night and woke me up several times. Also couldn’t get the heat to work. When I switched from AC to heat it kept blowing cold if not colder. Not a big deal in Tampa I suppose but it was a little chilly….

Our large family stayed in multiple rooms and all of the rooms had an unpleasant odor. It smelled musty or damp. The showers also need a redo as they looked really dirty but were probably just stained. One room still had trash and dirty towels from the previous guest. We did appreciate the large rooms, the free breakfast, and the pool and basketball court. The staff were very nice.

The hotel was nice, the bed was comfortable. The pool was down 2 days for palm tree trimming. (The reason I booked the hotel.) The parking was not listed in the advertisement. $25.00 a day to park across the street. The AC unit worked awesome except it sounded like a jet when it kicked on. The staff was awesome, they were dealing with a Marriot outage, could not make keys, could not take credit cards. I ended up using cash for the food items at the little kiosk that I cant get reimbursed for since they couldn't print a receipt. but it was only $25.00 so not that big of a deal. Did enjoy the basket ball court though, didn't expect that.

Katina at the front desk is super! So friendly and great personality. Breakfast was good, plenty of options and everything hot that was supposed to be. Rooms clean. Within walking distance of restaurants and the concert that we were in town for. Only minor downside is the pool. It’s between 2 buildings so sun doesn’t hit it til like 2pm. Would stay again.

Room could have been cleaner, had to have my sheets changed due to killing a bug on it. tub was not cleaned and toilet had to be fixed by maintenance. Tv did not work in one of the bedrooms and maintenance never came after front desk said would send someone
