A very restful setting. This hotel takes advantage of the Kok River which flows throughs Chiang Rai. The rooms are in a beautiful garden setting. They are clean, air-conditioned, and well maintained. Staff are delightful. It is a 5 minute ride ~2km from the clock tower in the centre of town. Transport and tours to any location can be arranged from the desk. We would be delighted to stay here again.

A lovely hotel located on the banks of the river. Rooms are large and beds very comfortable. Staff knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Recommended for a stay in Chiang Rai.

Amazing 5 days!!!!the management and staff of this hotel make you feel like you are the only one staying there. From the eagerness to help, to the quality of services and dining; 5 stars. I had a deluxe studio, which was large, well appointed and very light with large windows and doors, and a patio with a swing. Outstanding

We love The Legend - stayed there a few times on our trips to Chiang Rai. The hotel has amazing location on the Kok river. The breakfast buffet is beyond amazing. All the food is special and fresh with local food options. Rooms are spacious with balcony area. All the staff was friendly and professional.

The layout of the property was like being in a village without feeling of being on top of each other. It was quite and peaceful. In the morning we were greeted with traditional morning music played live.

We had an amazing stay. We spent a little more to be closer to nature and away from the town and it was definitely worth it. While still walkable to the town and the night markets, The Legend offers a nice secluded vibe with an amazing staff who are well versed in hospitality. The GM there, Eric Hallin, is a warm and convivial host. He personally greeted us at our check in and made sure to touch base with us at breakfast or in passing throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. He could always be found making rounds during mealtimes chatting with all the guests and making sure everyone was satisfied. The rooms were very clean and spacious and it was a quiet, comfortable sleep. The pool area backs on to the river and we loved enjoying happy hour with a great view. Would highly recommend!

Meget rolige omgivelser. Her kan man rigtig slappe af. 2 km ind til byen klares billigt med en Bolt / Taxi Morgenmaden ikke så spændende. God aftensmad i restauranten. Der er mange tjenere men kun en i baren til at levere drikkevarer. Så altid lang ventetid på at få noget at drikke, om det er i poolbaren eller på restauranten.

Wonderfull !

Beautiful hotel. Wonderfull park. Very relaxing. On the river. Excellent restaurant with reasonnable prices. We had lunch and diner every day. The staff was friendly and kindly. The swidish general manager was lovely. 20 mn away from the center by walk, but not a problem with the Bolt application: less than 100 bahts to go (less than 10mn) Wonderfull villa with swimming pool. Certainly the best hotel in Chian Rai.
