This property is poorly maintained. The hallways are dark and dingy. The room is cheaply furnished. The bedskirt is far too long and crumpled on the floor and a tripping hazard. The mattress is on top of a block. The owners couldn’t even ensure the curtain was in all the curtain hooks. The breakfast wasn’t ample for all guests and one guest was allowed to fill many platefuls and then leave the breakfast room. The stockroom used for breakfast items is a dirty mess. For $200 a night this place is a complete ripoff. We had trouble sleeping as our room was behind a pub and people were talking and shouting until midnight. You’d think it was a charge by the hour establishment. Very poor quality indeed. And to think it is a Wyndham property. I guess Wyndham is just out for a buck regardless of the quality offered. We’ll never go back and will be demanding a refund from Expedia!!!

We booked last minute to get out of the rain and our soggy tent. This was the ONLY room left in Salmon Arm and when we got here we found that we were upgraded to a lovely suite!!! It is a wonderful space and perfect for my 2 little grandsons to have a bath and a warm dry bed!! Thank you Salmon Arm Super 8!! We will be back!!

I'm not a picky person usually, but this might be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. When we arrived the door to our room was propped open. The people who checked in beside us had the same issue, but their room hadn't been cleaned yet. The room was dirty, we had no towels. After asking we were given two bath towels. No face cloths, no hand towels. No Kleenex in the room. No toilet paper on the wall, but luckily I found one and installed it myself. It took two days and three requests to get more towels. The towels all smelled like sweat, so I'm not sure they were washed with soap. The staff were all friendly but I'm really not sure how much experience they have running a hotel. It seemed like it took an unusual amount of time to do the daily routine and housekeeping. Breakfast was basically toast. The juice in the machine was undiluted syrup. The bananas were brown. One positive was the air conditioning was cold and the bed reasonably comfortable. It was quiet. I slept well. I wouldn't stay there again if I had a choice. It's a property that needs a Reno and it's in a good location but probably needs an ownership or management change.

We have 2 rooms and our room had one bath towel in it for two people. Our other room had no towels in it. Our tv didn’t work. When we went down to the desk we were told someone would be up to fix it. Nobody came. We tried calling the desk and going back down multiple times and nobody was there the rest of the night.

Don't book

Last minute booking in Salmon Arm, least expensive although still very pricey for what I receive. Old building, unkempt parking lot, front entrance, foyer, breakfast room. Layers of palm prints on entrance glass door, outdoor front area strewn with garbage, overflowing trash bin, flowers pots on ground unattended and dying, no maintenance of landscaping, garbage in parking lot. Stained carpet in stairs and halls, room was so musty, windows filthy, couch filthy stained, bathroom walls dirty and even walked in to unclean toilet seat (which is barely holding on). Furniture is severely outdated. Only save was the bed linens were clean and the mattress comfy. Breakfast room choices were minimal and no tidiness or attention to the room, no care. Staff were indifferent when I had their attention and simply seemed like my concerns were in one ear and out the other. They were not hospitable or even friendly, just indifferent. No charm school, no positive hospitality training. Wyndham would be ashamed and embarrassed with the down fall of this property.

I called prior to chrck in to ask if I could stay an extra night, there was an available room and I was put on hold gor 16 minutes, after which which the call got disconnected. When I called back ( no one called me back even if they had my phone number) the room wasn’t available anymore and the hotel was full. Hallways were dark and carpets dirty, water tank at front desk was empty and walls of room dirty. Freezer in room needs to be defrosted, provide kleenex and fix the cable tv. Outside of front desk was full of cigarette butts and not well kept. One more soul less hotel.
