The hotel was ok and the staff were good. The hotel attitude to VIP access was strange. The room was upgraded but for some reason the advertised bottle of wine was a small 1/4 187.5ml bottle. I was this was really cheap,

The bedroom was really nice, spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a Premier double. Breakfast service was sometimes a little chaotic; we didn't mind this in view of the training aspect of the hotel but it might put some people off. I think you need to buy in to the ethos of the hotel. Location excellent, right opposite the station.

The "bottle of wine" was infact a 1/4 bottle but it was a very small bottle with wine in it. I thought it was very cheap of them

Late evening book in welcomed, felt a little chilled, bit noisy through the night and difficult to fill the kettle, used a small glass in the end. Breakfast was freshly cooked but sadly just warm when we received it. The room was clean and tidy, staff lovely and nice service. Was only there fora few hours so did not want to raise any complaints.

A real gem, across the road from the station or use the great free car park next door. Reception was welcoming and after hearing about a bad night at a national chain the night before they promptly sorted an upgrade of room for us - so kind. Breakfast was served in a sunny open room with lots of choices and cooked to order! A fabulous way to set you up for the day.
