What a sparkling gem to find Helen and Peter’s place to end our stay in Fiji. Just perfect for the 2 of us. Its quiet, amazing 180 degree views of the ocean and the islands,beautiful garden with the old gracious mango tree and comfortable bed, and value for money compared to our stays in resorts. Helen arranged for delicious home cooked Fijian meals to be delivered to our door at half of the price of elsewhere You can walk to other cafes and supermarket. Peter bought us home baked bread, coconuts , eggs and milk. Highly recommended would come in a heartbeat. Thankyou so much.

🌺 Magical Stay at Makaira Resort – A Slice of Paradise! My time at Makaira Resort in Taveuni was nothing short of incredible. The views, the peace, the warm hospitality—this place is a true hidden gem. A special shoutout to Mary, whose massage was beyond amazing. One of the best I’ve ever had—deeply relaxing, soulful, and set against the soothing sounds of the ocean. She truly has healing hands! Amazing staff rooms and food.

Fantastic house, wonderfully spacious and very well equipped. Super comfortable beds and a lovely pool. The view is just amazing!
