One of the best hotels in Algarve! A 600 year old convent converted hotel, yet it has all amenities and convenience a modern hotel has to offer. Good variety of breakfast. Room is spacious, bright and airy. Staff are friendly and helpful! A short walk to the Main Street where visitors can find Pharmacies, restaurants and boutiques. The hotel is at foot of the Castle of Tavira, public parking is limited, but the hotel has its own gated parking area, which is a huge plus for us.

This was a wonderful unique stay,Manuela and Paulo were excellent hostsand Christina was extremely helpful. We used to own and run a Eco friendly guedt house but this is the best property we've stayed in. Thankyou very much you and your tesm are the best M

The only item I can say wasn't 100% to my satisfaction was the water pressure in the shower. I know I'm nitpicking. The breakfast was wonderful and there were so many different cheeses to try (7? 8?) and breads to choose from.

Historic Converted Convent

Peaceful

The convent is on the top of the hill next to the castle. We enjoyed staying in a place with such history. Tavira is a quiet town, we enjoyed walking along the river.

Beautiful hotel with outstanding service

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It was our first stay at a Pousada and it will definitely not be our last. We were given an upgrade to a suite on arrival which made our stay even better. The staff are all very friendly and efficient - first class level of service.
