This property hosts a lot of volunteers that come to help Israel in time of need. The guests create a special bond and discuss volunteering opportunities. There is a happy hour - where you get a bowl of soup snd wine and socialise. Breakfast is also very good

If you combine location, condition of the hotel, staff, amenities, and price, the Maxim has to rank among the best values in hotels. Two notable features of the hotel include the roof top that is beautifully designed and maintained with wonderful views of the Mediterranean. And The dining room which is highly conducive to meeting other guests. We shared experiences and often arranged day trips/activities together. All the people I know who stayed at the Maxim were unexpectedly surprised at how much it enhanced our stay in Israel.

A solid no-frills hotel. Not the peak of luxury but also not run down. Overall great. Good Israeli style breakfast spread. Helpful staff, and clean. The happy hour is a plus.

We had an amazing stay of several days at the Maxim. Always clean, perfect, friendly and lovely all over. The glass of wine in the evening was quite a treat coming back from the beach or shopping. Excellent location, perfect for us all the time, we loved it!!!

The Maxim is a delightful small hotel right on the beach in Tel Aviv. Great staff, friendly atmosphere, delicious fresh breakfast and happy hour. Can’t wait to return!

Friendly staff. The only deficiency was the inability to fix the clothes line in the shower. They did their best to make us feel comfortable and fix any problems we found.
