The hot tub was not hot at all. Pool area was dark and full of ants. Pool was very dirty. The shower was dirty but after mentioning to staff, they cleaned it the next morning. There were a few dead bugs on the floor near the beds as well.

Excellent value price for a unique property off the beaten path a bit, yet close to the beach.

Great service and beautiful property

Great pool, nice spot. Small things like no dish-wash soap or dish-sponge etc (when only there for a few days and asked to keep all kitchen items clean etc). Asked for extra towels for pool which were provided & were great. 10min walk to beach / bakery / cafe / sodas. 2 min walk to grocery store. On a busy road.

My husband and I spent one week at Villa Potrero with 8 close friends. We had an amazing time. The house and property are beautiful and within walking distance of several good restaurants and a market for groceries and other necessities. The staff including the concierge, house keepers and house maintenance workers were kind, helpful and accommodating. Arturo and Catalina assisted us skillfully while preparing for the trip by arranging chef service and massages while there as well as answering all of our questions in a timely manner. Martin and Benito kept the grounds looking amazing and were kind enough to set us up on the beach with umbrellas and chairs multiple days during our stay. Judy was a housekeeper who checked in with us to find out how frequently we would like her to come by to clean. She came with another housekeeper every couple of days to clean and freshen up the house. Lastly, our in house chef was Kattya. The experience was so amazing that we asked her and her team to come back on our last night in the house. They even delivered cocktails and appetizers to the pool in the afternoon while preparing a delicious meal. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

The room was very nice. I will say that I didn't have any furniture on my balcony, which was kind of a bummer. I've seen other complaints about staff being rude, not the case with me. The staff at the restaurants, bars, and rooftop were very nice and very friendly. I have seen other reviews about the front desk staff being rude. Personally? I didn't experience that but didn't have very many interactions with them other than hello. So, no problems there. I would recommend this hotel for individuals that just want to chill. If you are used to all-inclusives with a ton of entertainment options on-site, this is not the place for you. Also, keep in mind that there barring Copper and Stone (which is very nice and convenient) but there is nowhere to purchase outside goods ie) snacks, bottled water, beer, etc. If you want something for the room, pick it up on your way to the hotel, if you do not have a car. Otherwise, it can get a tad bit pricey. All in All, it was what I was expecting because I did a lot of research in advance.
