Checked in the door was half opened which was the first red flag. Trash was not emptied, we didn’t have bath towels and the sofa bed did not have any bedding even though I reserved the room needing extra bedding When discussing my frustration to manager on duty, her response was “we can cancel you can go somewhere else” “this is Thermopolis you know “ Made The family getaway a Very bad experience

This is a nice historic building in a nice area. The bed was comfortable. It would have been nice to have a chair. There is a small desk with the coffee on it, even a small chair there would be helpful. I am up early and like to have coffee and read while my husband gets ready. Also having tea in the room would be nice. I think the hotel is overpriced for what they offer. The pool was closed and the small hot tub was full.

The rustic pine beds were nice, and the lady at the front desk was helpful. Very modern bathroom. The breakfast was tasty. The room we stayed in was configured differently from normal motel rooms, and the long, skinny floorplan made it seem small, although we probably had the same square footage. The regular pool was not usable and the thermal pool was too small to accomodate more than 6 people. The outside of the building was being painted while we were there, and the painters were very friendly.

The breakfast was not great. One of our rooms did not have a thermostat, the room was hot. We were told they would either fix the thermostat or bring up a fan, neither happened in the 2 nights we stayed. Staff were super nice. We will be back just small things that could have been fixed to make the stay better.
