Awesome hotel, staff goes above and beyond. Only the breakfast buffet is a bit lacking, coffee options are somewhat limited and the whole breakfast offering is not really up to par with the rest of the hotel experience, but this is obviously a very subjective measure.

The location is out of the main city area. However that’s what I wanted as I wanted to travel to other areas and use the location as a base. This property was excellent value in a junior apartment. I give the staff 10 out of 10.

It felt more like a high-end boutique dining experience than a standard cruise buffet. Daily Adventures & Zen Moments The itinerary strikes a perfect balance between activity and relaxation: • Kayaking: It’s incredibly peaceful when you’re away from the main boat. • Squid Fishing: A fun, low-pressure way to spend the evening under the stars. • Tai Chi at Sunrise: There is no better way to wake up. Practicing slow, deliberate movements on the sundeck as the mist rises off the water was a highlight of the trip. The Vibe What sets Orchid apart is how serene and peaceful the entire experience feels. Because Lan Ha Bay is less crowded than its neighbour, Ha Long Bay, you truly feel immersed in nature.
