We had a great time in this Tignes appartment. The location was great with easy access to the shops and resturants and close to the ski school meeting points. The video room and Sauna were great additions to the appartment and the space was great for the 2 familys staying. I would reccomend the appartment for any familys / groups staying in Tignes

Stunning

Fantastic property in a great location with stunning views. Great communication from the host and very clean and spacious. Amazing sauna and cinema room and really comfy beds. A great place to relax with friends after a day on the slopes.

Superb Views.

- Firstly, the view from the large picture window in the lounge/diner was superb - looking across the Lake and up the Toviere mountain. - The apartment was clean and generously equipped. - The location for skiing was excellent. We chose to walk down the road to the Palafour chair, some 5 to 10 mins. There was also a drag lift just across the road; however we found it a little ‘fierce’ and only used it once - however the draglift’s slope made it a great way to ski back to the apartment.

Family ski holiday

Location for a family ski holiday is absolutely perfect. Literally one minute from a a lift that sets you up for the day. Also as we were a fairly mixed bag age-wise, the town of Tignes had something for everyone. All in short walking distance. Loved the big kitchen/dining/sitting area where we could all comfortably gather at the end of the day.. We would go back.

Wonderful

Superb huge flat in excellent position, close to draglift and ski back to within a few yards of the front door, or short walk down to ski school and shops. Very good Carrefour supermarket just down the road. The flat was very quiet, wonderful views and had everything we needed. Would have liked to book for half term next year but it is already taken. Cedric is an excellent communicator and very helpful.

Fantastic

Great property, easy access to bars, restaurants, supermarket and of course the pistes. Very comfortable kitchen/dining/ living area with amazing view. Bedrooms do get warm as no windows, apart from that fantastic property! We'll be back!

Great living space and location

The living area in the apartment was excellent; very spacious for our group of seven, well-equipped and had great views. The apartment is in a great location. A short walk from everything in Le Lac. Cedric was quick to respond to any queries. I was a bit taken aback that three of the bedrooms had no natural light. I hadn't noticed this in the pictures and none of the previous reviewers had commented on it. The rooms were hot and stuffy with the heating fully switched off, which meant we were quite dehydrated throughout the week. Overall a good option for a bigger group considering the living space and price point.

Well located, well equipped flat

Flat was ideally located for a full week’s skiing, close to lifts (sub 30 seconds’ walk), ski hire and parking. Close to tourism office, around which Tignes Le Lac is centred, with easy access to Val d’Isere and Val Claret. Flat is located within block that has covered access to local ski hire and boulangerie (amongst many others). Linen and towels are not included in the price. I believe this is common practice in France but, coming from the UK, was unaware prior to booking. Stayed in a group of 12. The communal areas were ideal but the temperature in the rooms was a little hard to regulate, particularly in the rooms further away from any windows or doors, which happen to be the rooms with more people. Would recommend the flat for groups of not more than 8 adults, or 6 adults with children.

Excellent apartment in a great location

Excellent apartment with a superb open plan cooking/dining/lounge and a view up to the slopes. There are two double bedrooms (one of which is across the hall with its own en suite), one bedroom with two triple bunks and another bedroom with two double bunks. So sleeps 12 in total but you wouldn't really want more than two adults in each bunk bed room. A bathroom and two shower rooms also reduces queuing time for getting cleaned up at the end of the day. The apartment has its own ski locker room which is a bonus. Access to the slopes is easy too, although not quite ski in/ski out. The bottom of the Chardonnet drag lift (quite steep so not for beginners) is about 50 metres away or you can walk down to the Palafour and Toviere lifts in about 2 to 3 minutes. All in all an excellent place to stay.

Great living space with fabulous views and very helpful owner

As two families of four we had more than enough room in this flat and in fact used the smaller bunk room as a dressing room for two of the children! The quality of the living space, kitchen and bathrooms sets this place apart from other ski apartments I have been to. We went to bed watching the piste bashers get to work on the mountain opposite and then woke up to an incredible panorama every morning. Crucially, Cedric was incredibly quick to answer any questions that we had either before the holiday or during it. He speaks excellent English and couldn't be more helpful. The apartment complex was very quiet in the week before Christmas and we barely met anyone else the whole time. This was good for us, as we had the separate room across the hall but never bumped into another guest so it didn't feel too detached. Only drawback is that the WiFi doesn't stretch into that bedroom but otherwise fast and reliable. Private ski locker right by the lift and heated boot rack very welcome. The drag lift outside the door was only open in the second half of the week but the walk into town is very quick regardless. Lagoon pool is free for use with a week's family pass and was a good option when kids got too tired. Moose Bar happy hour between 4-6pm is worth a shout and there is very easy access to a couple of other bars just outside the back door. We preferred Sherpa supermarket to Carrefour and ate in every night since the kitchen was so good and sociable. SOS Pizza is 50 yards away and takeaway a nice break from cooking if you like. The skiing is best suited to intermediates and off-piste, though beginners will find plenty. For what it's worth, our favourites run was the red - 'Orange' - that runs from above the tree line and then down to La Daille. Only suggestion to improve would be a few more pillows, so bring some extras if you are like us and need more than one, plus hand towels for the bathrooms!

Great Location & Great Apartment

Just stayed here over half term with my wife and kids and her sisters family so 8 of us in total. Tons of space for 8...It could hold 12 as there are 2 bunk rooms for 6 and 2 so 3 families could share. Ive stayed in lots of places in Tignes and this for the price bracket was by far the best. Lounge really comfortable, bedrooms great, kitchen fully equipped, great TV (was good for the olympics) & sound system. View over the lake and mountains was spectacular. One of the double bedrooms is actually across the hall from the main apartment. Don't let this put you off. It has its own facilities. The whole floor is secure and there is only one other apartment next door. From a skiing perspective I would say this is basically ski-in-ski-out....Come out the front door, turn left & 1 min walk to a fast drag lift that takes you up to a main blue run with full access to the whole area. You can ski back down to the bottom of the drag on a blue at the end of the day. The private boot room with heated boot rack also makes life pretty easy. Owner was very helpful and always answered questions quickly. I would have no hesitation recommending this to others.

Amazing appartment in amazing location

We had the best vacation in the appartment. Cedric replied quickly to our enquiries before the trip and Asia took care of us on the actual vacation week. The appartment was well suited for at least 10-12 persons and it had all what we needed. Great variety of kitchen accessories especially raclette pan and hot stone were nice addiktion. Thank you very much Cedric and Asia:)

Très bon séjour !

Nous sommes partis à 9 amis dans cet appartement. Dans l'ensemble, l'appartement est très bien : on a de la place, que ce soit dans le salon ou sur la table à manger, la cuisine est plutôt grande et bien équipée, les trois salles de bain et le toilette séparé sont un véritable plus. La localisation est quasi parfaite : une route à traverser pour avoir la première remontée de ski, proche des commerces et des lieux de sorties (restaurants, bar etc). Et la vue sur les montagnes est plutôt sympa. Petit bémol malgré tout sur les chambres. Aucune d'entre elles n'ont d'ouverture sur l'extérieur. Il y fait donc très chaud et très sec. 3 adultes dormaient dans le dortoir de 6. Nous avons du mal à imaginer comment 6 personnes peuvent tenir dans cette petite chambre en l'absence d'aeration. De plus, une chambre double avec sdb et toilette est situé sur le palier, en dehors de l'appartement. Cela n'est pas spécialement gênant, mais il serait bien de le préciser dans l'annonce.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement idéalement placé dans la station. Il est spacieux et très bien équipé. Une des chambres est située à l’extérieur de l’appartement, sur le même palier, ce qui ne nous a posé aucun problème, mais qui n’était pas spécifié dans l’annonce.

Bel appart mais descriptif à améliorer

L'appartement n'est pas composé de 4 chambres mais bien de 3, la 4ème étant sur le même palier, ce qui serait bon à savoir dans le descriptif pour les familles avec enfants en bas âges qui seront donc séparés des parents. Cette 4ème chambre donne directement dans le couloir donc assez bruyante de par les voisins et les ascenseurs, elle ne dispose pas du tout de fenêtre est donc très chaude (même à -14° dehors). L'appartement est bien équipé et dispose d'une très belle vue et d'une chouette terrasse ensoleillée. Le local à skis étant au même étage que l'appartement, l'ascenseur devra être pris avec les équipements, nous avons donc opté pour une consigne chez le loueur de skis au final. La remontée mécanique à la sortie n'a pas fonctionné pendant notre semaine, ni pendant la semaine de Noël, il faut donc redescendre au front de neige dans pareil cas. La piste bleu arrivant au pied de la location est assez raide donc pas pour les débutants. Concierge disponible.

Superbe appartement très bien situé

La pièce principale est très agréable avec une magnifique vue sur les montagnes. L' appartement est spacieux et bien aménagé pour un grand groupe. La chambre dortoir pour 6 n'est pas idéale pour des adultes mais conviendra à des enfants.
