Our unique, cozy holiday apartment is located on the sun-drenched west side of La Palma, in front of the Pueblo Tijarafe in El Jesus at around 460 meters above sea level. The landlord's house is also on the property. The cave has a separate entrance, approx. 50 m from the main house and is not visible from the main house. The apartment is a comfortably furnished, former lava tube that is typical of La Palma. The size of the accommodation is 60 square meters and consists of a bedroom with a double bed 190m x 200m and very comfortable mattresses that invite you to sleep in and dream. The living area is divided into a seating area with sofa and television and the kitchen-dining area with ceramic hob, refrigerator, toaster, mini oven, Nespresso machine. The bathroom with shower is between the bedroom and the living area. The water is heated by a solar tank and can also be heated electrically in cooler weather. The water is spring water. Towels, bed linen and beach towels are provided. Our holiday guests can of course use the entire property and choose the most diverse places to stay.
In front of the cave there is a beautiful sheltered terrace where you can end the day comfortably or enjoy breakfast in the sun in the morning.
Due to the special location and the lava stone, the temperature in the apartment is almost constant. It is nice and cool at 22 degrees Celsius in summer and pleasantly warm in winter. If it is still too fresh for you, there is a radiator to warm up the living area.
Your holiday accommodation is located on a 20,000 square meter plot of land that borders a baranco that has been protected. This zone has a particularly mild climate with lots of sun and little rainfall. Those looking for peace and want to relax can enjoy the spectacular sunsets and the steel-blue sky. Despite the quiet location, you can be in the village in a few minutes, where you will find supermarkets, organic shops, restaurants, pharmacies, doctors and much more.
There are also many excursion destinations nearby, which you can easily reach by car or on foot. B. the pirate bay, various beaches that have to be conquered by narrow paths on the cliffs; Cave dwellings of the indigenous people, natural fantastic barancos, many pine forests with wildly romantic valleys, natural swimming pools or a visit to the beach. Ideal for nature lovers.
