In the absolute tranquillity of the Umbrian countryside, close to Todi, is Casale dei Gelsomini, a splendid house set in this magnificent green hilly landscape, rich in history, culture, traditions and good food. From the windows and the pool you look out over a panorama of breathtaking beauty while the magical atmosphere surrounding you at Casale dei Gelsomini while sipping a glass of wine at sunset will be an unforgettable experience. Newly built, it has maintained the style of typical country houses with its stone-clad exterior, wooden ceiling beams and country-chic wooden floor planks that provide a particularly intense warmth. Designed with great attention to detail and equipped with all comforts, its luxurious interior is the result of a successful combination of traditional architectural elements and modern furnishings that render every room warm and welcoming. The large open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen are spacious and bright thanks to the large windows that face out to the portico. The wonderful infinity pool, with its limitless view, is surrounded by olives, lawn and many fragrant and colourful flowers. The house is within easy reach of the many places of natural, artistic and religious interest in the area. Todi, with its incredible variety of natural landscapes, prestigious architectural heritage and rich culture formed by ancient traditions, is 10 minutes from the property but not far away are other famous towns of central Italy - Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia and Spoleto. The excellent motorway links also ensure easy travel to the nearby regions of Tuscany and Lazio.

Interior:
The two-storey house takes advantage of the sloping hillside terrain. The main entrance on the ground floor goes into the open-plan living area composed of lounge with fireplace, dining area and well-equipped kitchen with central island and fireplace, leading directly out to the portico. A double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, a guest bathroom and a laundry just outside the front door complete this floor. A marble staircase in the entrance leads up to the first floor which consists of three double bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom with shower. All the rooms have air conditioning and digital TV. The laundry room is located on the ground floor with entrance only from the outside.

Park:
The 3-hectare property surrounds the house. From the entrance gate you go directly to the 4-car parking area. In the garden are many types of flowers, jasmine, lavender and roses, that alternate with olive trees in the manicured lawn areas around the house and in the pool area. Outside the French window of the dining room/lounge/kitchen is a large portico with wooden-beamed roof set up with chairs, table and mobile barbecue. In the evening the outdoor lights in various strategic spots render the garden even more fascinating, both around the pool and in the rest of the property.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:
The wonderful infinity pool lies on the lower terrace of the property, accessible from the house down a flight of steps. An open view over the countryside and Todi offers impressive and thrilling sunsets. The rectangular pool, with light-coloured travertine border and PVC lining, has five internal steps on one side for access to the water, internal lighting and chlorine purification. It measures 12 x 6 m from 1.30 m deep up to 2 m. The sunbathing area, along the perimeter of the pool paved in light-coloured travertine and in the surrounding lawn area, is equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs and gazebo. There is a cold-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.

Pets: On request. € 50,00 per animal per week to be paid on site.
