Wasn't sure how the trip was going to go as I received an email the day of our arrival that the oceanfront suite that we booked had maintenance issues. I only book oceanfront wherever I travel so this was a big deal for me. I kindly asked for an acceptable solution & boy did they deliver. I had to stay the first night in a suite behind oceanfront then they moved me the next day to 2 oceanfront studios, 1 for us & 1 for my son. This was a substantially smaller unit but that was less important to me than being oceanfront. They also compensated me financially. This place sure knows good customer service when something doesn't go as planned. The service from everyone at this place was amazing. If I'm back in the area I won't stay anywhere else. The layout of the resort is amazing & location to everything perfect.

Incredible location on the water and a short walk to several restaurants, including Barracuda which is the best. Surfing access great as well. We will be back for sure The welcome at reception was pretty lackluster and weird, but the rest of the staff were kind and helpful. Pool is lovely. Only at at the hotel restaurant once and it was good. Of note— they don’t have water to drink in the rooms anymore but you can fill your water bottles at the bar and they also let us buy a big jug to use for $178pesos which lasted us all week and was well worth it. Our curtains needed some extra help closing for adequate privacy but we used a clip which helped. I would also suggest that they give you a mat for your feet so your aren’t trudging in sand (or at least a little broom?)

My room was a bit rough around the edges; the toilet seat could not stay up, the door had a funky lock that I could only lock with a key from the inside. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Pulled chairs, blankets when they noticed I was chilled, special mocktails, etc. The only think I would have loved to have in our room is a mirror in the bathroom, more hooks, and a movable chair. Other than that I felt very comfortable.

Ocean front, very relaxing, no TV, just WiFi. Beautiful beach and hotel grounds. On site restaurant has variety of food choices, affordable and great staff. Pool is vey large and perfect temperature. I’m interested in a quiet, relaxing place to stay, not all inclusive, which I love.

The hotel was right on the ocean. Rooms were fantastic and pool was huge and just a beautiful area. We came at the end of the tropical storm so lots of rain one night and the hotel lost power for a few hours during the day. We just hung out in the pool all day and kept cool. My only warning is that the road you takeoff off of the highway to get to the hotel is very rough. If you have a low profile vehicle you just have to drive slow and careful. It was worth the rough ride once we got there. The restaurant on site is also excellent. We ate all of our meals there.
