Very good

Firstly an issue in rate communication between the hotel and hotels.com! On arrival we were told we would need to pay extra for our children, even though we’d included this in our search criteria when booking!
The hotel is also in not a very good state of repair. Very tired and old.
Not worth the money at all
Very nice staff, great location. Room was a good size and the bathroom was large by Japanese standards. Had a great stay and would book again.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Amazingly quiet in the room compare to the busyness in the area. Staff greets whenever guests leave the hotel or return the hotel. The room is quite damp somehow but bearable. The location is very convenient with numerous coffee shops and convenient shops and drug stores. Several metro lines can be accessed within 5 min.
The hotel staff were courteous and accommodating throughout our stay, especially when we requested room changes due to humidity issues. Our initial room felt quite humid upon arrival, and the sheets were damp even after being replaced, which suggested a deeper issue with the mattress. The team responded promptly and moved us to another room, which we appreciated.
The second room was noticeably cooler, likely to offset the humidity, but the sheets remained slightly damp. Since it was our final night, we chose not to pursue another room change or request a refund.
On a positive note, the breakfast was delicious and a highlight of our stay.
I booked the Centurion Hotel Grand Akasaka but was placed in the Centurion Vintage Hotel across the street.
The hotel was run down and in need of major renovation.
The sink and tub both had issues with water draining slowly.
The TV was not a smart TV and did not have YouTube TV or Netflix. It appeared only local TV channels in Japanese were available but every channel would intermittently have disconnection issues every 30 seconds or so making it unwatchable.
I was expecting more for the price I paid.
The area was ok with lots of dining options within walking distance and not too far from the subway station.
There are several Centurion hotel buildings and this wasn’t the one I thought I was getting. After checking in, our room was across the street at the Vintage. You walk through the restaurant that has a hospital cleaner kinda smell that I found repulsive every time I walked in and out.
Hallways were scratched up and the sofa had stains. The bathrooms are small. Towels looked tired, thin, and frayed around the edges. But the beds were comfortable.
Only good thing is the proximity to Akasaka-Mitsuke Station (Ginza Line & Marunouchi Line) and Akasaka Station (Chiyoda Line).
It’s a budget hotel, but I seriously thought about walking away and getting a new hotel. It’s about a step up from a Love Hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again… ever.
