The hotel was built only a few years ago for the Tokyo Olympics and it shows. Located only a couple of blocks from several train stations, you could go anywhere you wanted in no time flat. Or, if you're adventurous, only a 30 minute walk from down town Akihabara. The entrance in tucked away neatly behind the main streets, making it a secluded base of operations for your stay in Tokyo. This hotel was the most accommodating hotel that I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The food was down right outstanding and was made fresh every morning. The facilities were some of the cleanest I had ever seen. A hotel this nice in the USA would cost nearly double. They even have a traditional bath house built right into the second floor. And the staff. Oh, the staff. I cannot express how wonderful the staff was. Every day felt like a warm welcome from such fine people. Genuinely warm and welcoming, with great concern for you and your stay. Overall, I give Kazusaya a 11 out of 10! And I will be recommending it to everyone I know for their next adventure.

Did not have breakfast service but did have lunch which was delicious and satisfying. The staff very professional and friendly. Laundry is useful but read the instructions before using it. The staff helped us when we made the machine stop midway. Room was small by American standards but was comfortable by Japanese standards. The room was well appointed with minimalist style furniture.

We stayed in one room for three nights and then we’re moved to another room as part of a group tour we were joining. Both were clean and had great amenities, though the second room was considerably smaller. Still had everything we needed front desk. Staff was pleasant, but our first night and morning there was one person at the front desk that was exceptionally good. She was very pleasant and extremely helpful in getting us oriented and directing us to trains. We chose this location because we didn’t want to have to move hotels to join our tour group and found that it worked well. Access to trains, restaurants, and konbini’s was very good. The only negative was the food. The first night of the the tour was a group dinner in the main floor dining room. Service was good, but the food which was mainly cold was not great. The breakfast were the worst of the entire 16 days we had in Japan and just the addition of some cereal and small yoghurt containers with and improvement. At the end of the tour, we were back at the hotel and had a farewell dinner, which was our worst meal in Japan. It’s important to know that these meals were part of a tour group and one person ate in the main dining room before the group tour on his own and said the food was good that night. Food aside, I would recommend this hotel.

Clean property and room.Quite spacious room for Tokyo. Great location, Easy access to train station, Ginza and all other areas for tourists. Free room amenities like body lotion and face wash are not available - not a deal breaker but would be nice to have.
