Room was ok for size, (as we booked the larger room), but there was almost zero space for clothing and such. No shelves, no hooks, just some hangers by the wall - very inconvenient for longer trips/stay. As for service, the cleaners were ok, provided good service, thank you. Out room was opposite to a service room (room 19 on the floor), and around 2 am we were woken up by the noise , apparently caused by service staff filling up the supply in the service room. WE asked the reception to ask them to be quiet, which worked for a few days, then started again. WE did not have breakfast or other services.

Great location near the train… though you can hear it coming and going until it stops running. But we use a fan sound to sleep at night, so it wasn’t a big problem. Great shower. Small room, but as expected and was more than sufficient. Great breakfast! Super friendly staff. And a Family Mart attached to the building right outside the entry.. super convenient. I also had a drink in the bar down the stairs (connected as well). Lots of good places to eat across the street. And if you want to try a Japanese casino, it’s right next door! Very cool area and not overwhelming like Shibuya or Shinjuku.. a good short train ride from those areas.

We have stayed at My Stays hotels in Gotanda area several times but it seemed run down by a lot. There was a terrible sewer like smell in our room so had to request to change rooms. The staff were very nice

Our hotel room was decently clean. The size of the room for 3pp was good. Except the bathroom was small. But i guess that’s pretty much what they mostly offer in JPN in a decently priced room.
