The property is super clean and nice (take your shoes off before entering the hotel). The public bath has a great selection of pools: hot, cold, indoor, outdoor, and super strong jets
The hotel is well located and close to a lots of restaurants. The hot springs are amazing!! The most impressive part was the breakfast buffet!! Highly recommend!!!
Very comfortable stay! The room, bed and my sleep was comfortable. I liked the rooms, the onsen japanese bath, their breakfast, and they have available washer (free) and dryer (100 yen ($0.60) for 30-min.). This stay was a nice break from city life.
Great breakfast and great onsen experience. Also great to eat the late night noodles, desserts and daily yoghurt drink. Great view of senso ji and the sky tree from our window. Great space for three people. Highly recommend it.
This is a brilliant hotel, located in the historic district. It has tatami style floors so you remove your shoes as you enter and wear slippers or socks indoors instead.
The room was delightful, the food at breakfast was varied and with plenty of vegetarian options. It also has an onsen. There are numerous small restaurants and historic sights right on the doorstep. I wish we could have stayed here for our other days in Tokyo!
Newer property, clean and in a great location. I didn’t enjoy breakfast as there were very few wester options, but popsicles and late night ramen were both free and a lovely treat. Onsen on basement level is fantastic! Incredibly relaxing after a long day of site seeing.
The onsen made my stay awesome used it every day. Location is away from Shibuya etc but in a great neighborhood which is much more relaxed and still very convenient
FANTASTIC STAY and escape! Fast easy check-in And check-out, walk round barefoot or with socks, a very zen-like relaxed and quiet atmosphere inside whilst the hotel is in the middle of great shopping area and steps away from beautiful shrines. Onsen baths were fantastic and relaxing, complimentary popsicles and yogurt drinks to cool down after the hot baths, late night bowl of noodles and buffet breakfast… outstanding!!! Husband and I definitely will book here again when we return to Japan with our kids. Absolutely! You won’t be disappointed.
Wonderful hotel, spacious room for the Tokyo area. Clean, comfortable and the location is great for Senso-ji! There is a bit of a walk from the train stations, but it's very short.
Nowhere in the listing does it say hotel guests with tattoos cannot use the spa. The only reason I booked two nights with the hotel was for the on site spa, but I was denied service after checking into the hotel and learning they refuse to let anyone with tattoos into the spa area. All I was given was a “Sorry”, not even an attempt to offer me complimentary breakfast buffet or anything for this misrepresentation by their hotel listing, and after asking to then cancel the second night the hotel said that they would still charge me 50% of the room cost for the second night I would not even be there. Horrible service. Most uncomfortable pillows in Japan. Also, there is nothing in Asakusa that you cannot find far better versions of in many other parts of Japan. Onyado left me with a terrible end to an otherwise great trip.
