While I did appreciate that this hotel offered more space than others, my trip was met with some disappointment. Using the restroom caused a sewage like smell to flow through our entire room so it was rather unpleasant when flushing or using the shower. Check in and check out was relatively easy and the location is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest transit which was mildly convenient for us. The upset of our trip came when trying to utilize the laundry machine. It was about 800 yen per load and it should be noted that the dryer does not work very well. Our clothes had a mildew-y scent and was mostly wet despite paying for additional dry time. We ended up rewashing all of our clothes and they were still stuck with this mildew-y scent after the second cycle. This whole process took about 1.5 days and it dampened our trip. It took a bit of back and forth and since the laundry is run by a third party, the hotel said they were only able to do so much for us. While the hotel is nice, I suggest finding a laundromat to do laundry at to avoid ruining your clothes.

The hotel was very close to several public transit options making it very easy to get around. The staff was incredibly helpful. Would definitely stay at the Royal Park Hotel Iconic Tokyo Shiodome again.

Gym is very small with only a few pieces of equipment for such a large hotel. I also asked for a late check out - 2hrs or less and the response was, yes, but at a rate of 5,000¥ or so. Ridiculous.

The concierge did not seem able to help in booking a reasonable priced trip to our ship in Yokohama but another service we found did just that

The Royal Park is a great hotel. Very central with many attractions within walking distance. The subway and train are easily accessible making it great to get around all of Tokyo. All of the staff we interacted with were exceptional. Highly recommend.
