Giving Topock66 just 1 star. The hotel is plagued by constant train rumbling noise every 10-15 minutes literally shaking the entire building, making sleep impossible, even for deep sleepers. The train track is just a 50 yards away. It’s also extremely isolated, about 30 minute drive from any conveniences. No real food options other than the only restaurant and no gym. The high Expedia rating of 9.4 is completely misleading, so travelers beware.

Beautiful room, clean, staff is very nice and helpful. Food in restaurant very good as well. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again. It is off season so not busy which is a good time to stay there.

The freight train rumbles by quite a lot. They did a good job of insulating the rooms from the sound, but you can feel it. Lighter sleepers might have issue. Otherwise, the staff was great, the restaurant was good and it was an all around good stopover to Los Angeles.

NO HOT WATER. I asked to change rooms. They told me that all rooms feed from the same boiler. 2nd day of NO HOT Water in the room. Day-1 I ask the staff to fix the hot water situation, they said they now turned up the boiler and it should be fixed in 1/2 hour.This did NOT fix the problem. Later that night, I mentioned it again and they said that they were calling the owner. Day-2 still no hot water.

The staff were helpful at check in and in the restaurant. The room was large, nice and provided a scenic view of the river. The only downside was the trains rumbling by at all hours of the night. Overall not too bad a place to stay in my opinion.

Conveniently located off the 40. Beautiful view of the river. The pool/patio set up is fantastic. Pool was open til 11, restaurant open til 9. Rooms are very spacious, nice updates with fridge and partial kitchen. There are no utensils. The train is loud and runs about every 10-15 minutes but you kind of get used to it. Dog friendly. Overall I’d absolutely recommend staying here, and I look forward to returning.
