I had high expectations for this property, but our stay was disappointing. At check-in, I was told no upgrades were available despite my status and online availability showing otherwise. The first room had a broken bathtub covered with a towel, a barely functioning shower, and non-working air conditioning. After reporting these issues, we were moved to an “upgraded” room, which unfortunately was also substandard, with dusty carpet, cobwebs, mismatched faucet knobs, and an entirely obstructed window view due to a plywood panel. In both rooms, the air conditioning did not work even when the heat was turned down to the lowest setting. We had to open the windows and let the cold winter air in for comfort.
I want to acknowledge that the front desk supervisor did her best to improve our experience, and I genuinely appreciated her effort. However, the restaurant service further diminished our stay. Our servers displayed noticeable attitude and did not seem interested in providing attentive or welcoming service.
Overall, the experience fell far below the standards expected of a luxury hotel.
