Unfortunately we were placed right across from the pool when it had extended hours and a hotel full of children from some event. It was very loud and the room above us was also quite disruptive, I understand that happens sometimes and the staff were soooooo fantastic to deal with and the hotel understood and provided us complimentary breakfast which was very kind and they didn’t need to do! The hotel is very easy to get to and close to the TTC, so we could take the subway into Toronto very easily! Great location!

I stay at Hilton Garden Inns all around the province and this one is by far the absolute worst Garden Inn I've stayed at. The facility itself is very outdated, the staff is rude, the rooms are outdated and dirty. The room I stayed in did not have a tub for a shower it was open so you didn't have to step over a tub side which was great except for the fact the shower curtain didn't reach the floor so everytime you have a shower it flooded the washroom floor. The tv in the room was only a 32" that you couldn't access a menu for and the one in my room had the color all messed up, people were purple. I just can't believe a hotel brand like Hilton can't keep all their properties up to date and the same.

The staff was very helpful in solving a few problems that we had regarding our stay. However, they were problems that could have been prevented with some maintenance and forethought. It is obvious that this hotel is closing in a few months by the way that they have stopped taking care of some of the issues around the property and in the rooms. We were told by three separate employees that they would be closing in the summer and that they were really supposed to tell us. Too bad, this was once a great place to stay. it is still OK, but no longer the premium option that it was.

The property smelled like chlorine everywhere. It was an over powering odor. Our room also smelled like chemicals. The bed was uncomfortable and clearly needs a new mattress as there was a HUGE divot in it. The pillows were also paper thin, we asked for more but even then they were very uncomfortable. Not what I expected from a typical Hilton hotel!
