What kind of a suite has no window and sealed patio door and when you open the curtains looks into elevator lobby

Lobby looks nice but that’s it.

Room was ridiculously expensive for the quality of stay you get. Cost over 300$ to be put on the second floor with a pre teen baseball team. Our room was at the end of the hall right next to the stairs where they were constantly running up and down. They’re kids and I don’t expect them to change how they act for my stay but I do expect the hotel to not have a couple stay on the same floor as them as they were the only team there. When we arrived the room stank like sewage. The ceiling was falling apart, the tv basically only had news channels. The cabinet in which the fridge was in looked like it was burnt across the bottom. On top of the crazy room price breakfast costs another 21$ per person. The bed was nowhere near as comfortable as the updated holiday inns I have stayed at. The only updates to this hotel are in the lobby. Don’t waste your time or money here and stay somewhere else.

Bill padding: with a rate of $174 on Expedia, I had expected to pay about $400 for two nights. When I arrived, the rate had changed to $199, and I was too tired to protest or find another option, and I expected to pay about $450. The bill was $474, and then there was a charge of $124 for ‘taking’ a bedspread — which I didn’t do. Tried to get a refund through Expedia, but that didn’t work. This sort of thing has never happened to me in Canada or elsewhere. Also, shower drained poorly, with 2 inches of water in the pan as I was bathing, and the ironing board fell apart when I went to use it.

This hotel was very close to the wedding venue, stores, and places to eat. The room was just ok. Many of the outlets were lose making charging devices and using the iron or hair dryer difficult. The ironing board was broken. The shower door did not close all the way. The hotel attempted to get in touch to check out our issues but we were there for a wedding and were not available.
