Overall I was happy. Staffs were generally helpful. Reservation was a bit mixed up. Lobby was very nice hiwever 3rd floor carpets was worn out. Bathroom sink amenities need some fix.

Overall, the room was nice. Could use a good cleaning, wiping down the kitchen, cupboard, etc.. My biggest concern was that both windows were open and they have no screens if I would’ve had my grandson with me. The first thing he would’ve done was walked over to that window and potentially could’ve fallen from the fourth floor, that is absolutely ridiculous. Will not stay there again.

Good: Close to the highway, easy access to Oakville and Burlington, shopping, etc. Drawbacks for my long-term stay were the confusing maid service policy and no laundry. Also confusing was the loyalty programme. One assumes you want loyalty, but it was so restrictive that my Visa was good enough to pay the nearly three-week bill, but not good enough to join.

Overall the Sandman was good. The building itself seems somewhat new and clean. Our room was sufficient but noticed a couple things that could be improved: Lighting in bathroom was dark, wallpaper peeling, when I touched the outside of our room’s door, it left a brown residue on my hand. Our only other issue was the hot tub which had visibly unclean water. I’ve always had good experiences at a Sandman so this was a little disappointing.
