Trancoso has only one place to stay within a 10-kilometre radius of its central area.

The Hotel Lusitania, Portugal, which is the nearest accommodation, lies 25 kilometres from downtown Trancoso. Another handy choice is the Casa do Redondo, which is situated in Portugal, 9 kilometres from downtown Trancoso.

The Hotel Vanguarda is positioned 30 kilometres from the central part of Trancoso. Or, alternatively, the Pombeira Hotel is located 30 kilometres away. More alternatives in the Trancoso area are the Residencial Pinto and the Residencial Ferrinho.

After you have spent some time in Trancoso, ensure you have enough time to discover more of Centro. Photographers will appreciate Centro's beaches and coastal plains. If the great outdoors are not your bag, spend time at the region's ruins and castles. More active travellers can try their hand at mountain biking, rock climbing and mountain climbing here.

It is well known that we Aussies just love to have a good time, so consider extending your stay and check out the Torre and Ski Parque, in Manteigas, 50 kilometres to the south of Trancoso.
