A hidden paradise!!

We discovered a hidden paradise!! The property is incredible, more than we expected. Views were out of this world and the road leading to this property was a great surprise. Staff were exceptionally friendly, Katia’s hospitality was immense. Thank you for this great experience.

Just one night

Hard to find hotel but worth it. Park by pharmacy in park. 1/2 mile walk. Nice place. 4 rooms. Excellent dinner and breakfast with great view, wander the little streets. No AC. It was hot but crosswinds cooled room.

JUST AN INCREDIBLE STAY!

First off, let me just say, I usually have high standards about hotels and I don't easily rave about a place but this one is worth raving for. My girlfriend and I stayed at Locanda al Castelletto for 1 night, a recently renovated 16th century small castle. We can't say enough about it. It was an authentic Italian experience. The owner, Katia, and her assistant, Nina, were wonderful. The room was small but so well designed and the views were absolutely spectacular. The location was great for us... and oh so peaceful! We didn't get to try the restaurant because sadly it was closed that day of the week (Tuesday) but the breakfast was fantastic. The view in the dinning room/breakfast room is just incredible... Just that was worth the stay! We loved it so much that we wanted to extend our trip but sadly there were no other availabilities... We will be back!!!! PS: If you read this ....Thank you again Katia and Nina!

Wichtig vorab: Das Hotel/Bed and Breakfast und Team ansich sind super. Unsere Bewertung von 3 von 5 Sternen bezieht sich explizit auf unser Ziel mit dem Urlaub in einer möglichst ruhigen Umgebung einen Entspannungsurlaub zu haben. Insbesondere aufgrund der lückenhaften Beschreibung online haben sich unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Insbesondere die Aufteilung in Haupthaus (an der Klippe mit schöner Sicht) und unser Zimmer im Nebengebäude (eher im Kern des Ortes) war für uns vorher nicht ersichtlich und trug dazu bei. Positiv: 1) Historisches Gebäude (bis zu 1300) sehr liebevoll (2020) renoviert mit perfektem Mix aus Neu- und Alt. 2) Tolles team, das sogar als wir nach Münzen zum Parken fragten im Nachbarschäft die Münzen besorgte 3) Super Mini-Spar, welches man zur privaten Nutzung alleine für 1 Stunde buchen konnte mit Sauna und Whirlpool Für uns die entscheidenen Nachteile: 1) Nebengebäude nicht mit der Aussicht und einige Gehinuten durch den Ort entfernt vom Haupthaus an der Klippe mit Frühstück und Spa. 2) Unser Zimmer im Nebengebäude war im 2. Stock in im SEHR eng bebauten Kern mit Terasse über einem Restaurant. Es wurde gesungen, Kinder haben geschrien, Musik lief - alles sehr schön, aber nicht was wir uns im Entspannungsurlaub für die Preise und von den Fotos erhofft hatten 3) Bei der Ankunft wurden wir auch noch von der Polizei von dem Ort, wo wir mit dem Auto parken sollten um auszuladen, verscheucht. Unangenehm. Gastgeberin aber sehr bemüht und freundlich.

Katastrophe! Wir haben über Expedia gebucht. Als wir ankamen, stand uns kein Zimmer zur Verfügung. Man sagte uns ein Systemfehler sei aufgetreten und man könne uns das Zimmer nicht mehr anbieten. Bei Expedia nur ein telefonischer Service auf Englisch, der eine schlechte Verbindung hatte und uns nicht verstand. Eine Ersatzunterkunft mussten wir abends alleine finden.
