Hotel staff were amazing. They make you feel so at ease. Was my daughter’s birthday and they all wrote in a card for her. And gave her a peacock teddy. They loved the pool and the games rooms. Even better toy can get peacock food from reception to feed them.

The staff were very attentive, and the manager very approachable. The rooms are a great size, sadly the cleanliness of the hotel is not great. The rooms are incredibly dusty, in the bathrooms sadly lots of grime and mould build up. The pool was great, they had a couple of games rooms, and a footy pitch for the children. The outdoor area is lovely and well kept.

Perfect family mini vacay from Londob

Perfect mimi vacay with two kids of 4 and 2. They loved feeding the peacocks, having a swim before breakfast (which was amazing) and roaming the gardens. Perfect family room too!

This place is spot on in terms of value for money. Our room was a great size, the breakfast was lovely and all the staff were so friendly. I must admit i liked how culturally diverse the staff were. I definitely recommend this place

The food was very good, especially at breakfast. We did not like: Air ducted heating (&/or conditioning?) system that: 1. Could not be over-ridden by the room controls (& my husband was originally an electronics engineer); 2. There were no instructions for anything in the room - instead one has to email Reception - really, in the middle of the night??! 3. The heating/air conditioning system ignores manual override 3 times in the night so waking us up!!!!!!!!!! Need I go on?

Great family friendly hotel

Great overnight stay with two kids age 5 and 7. Had a lovely time. The hotel was very welcoming, especially Becky on reception. We loved the peacocks and feeding them was such a treat. We got a taxi into Tring to the Natural history museum which was fun. The family room was lovely and spacious. Would definitely stay again. Thanks to all the staff!

The grounds are stunningly picturesque. Staff are so kind, friendly and attentive to every need. The decor and style are very warm and welcoming. Such a lovely, clean and comfortable bed room, with everything you could need. Delicious breakfast buffet. My kid loved the pool, thoughtfully provided poolside towels. We really enjoyed the steam room and sauna. To be honest I can’t fault it.

Five star welcome

Our whole stay was wonderful… especially friendliness of staff and all the added niceties (like anniversary card signed by staff and chocolates in room. The upgrade to superior, the spa swim pool and most of all the peacocks roaming the lawn. I have recommended it to friends.
