Converted Attic Room

Staff were very nice and room was clean. However, our room was a converted attic space where you had to walk around bent over or on your knees because the roof was sloped and so low. We could barely get into bed, not to mention the high risk of hitting your head on the wooden rafters when you wake up at 3AM to go to the bathroom. Only in approximately 10% of the room could you fully stand up straight, and we are not a tall couple. Thank god it was only a one night stay. And we paid for a Superior Room. I almost forgot the best part - carrying our heavy luggage up four flights of stairs because there was no elevator and no bell hop. Will not return here. Trogir was very nice, though.

I believe that guests should be offered the first bottle of water. There should be tissues in the room. The slippers are way to small Also the noise level from other rooms at 3 am is unpleasant

Great location and staff

We found out after check-in the air conditioner was broken in our room. They put a window unit and a fan in our room. The problem was we were on the lowest floor and the smoke from the restaurants coming in through the window unit was strong enough to trigger a migraine. That was no fun for the flight the next day. The hotel is in a great location and close to the airport. It was easy to make an early morning flight. Every member of the staff was nice and helpful. If the a/c had not been a problem I would have rated 5 stars.

We really enjoyed our one night at this property. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, and the room was delightful, far better than we expected for the rate we paid. We had stayed in Split at the Luxe Hotel earlier in our trip, and it was a disaster at three times the rate. This is definitely a hidden gem and highly recommended.
