It was a clean property. The rooms are big with a kitchenette. But you can hear everything in the hallway and everything in the next person‘s room. I can hear the alarm going off of the person next to me. They would not turn it off. I had to call the front desk to have them turn it off. I could hear the front desk calling them. They finally turned it off. This was at 6 AM in the morning and I wasn’t getting up until 8 AM.

Upon arrival at the hotel, there was no one at the front desk. A sign on the desk read, "Busy attending to other guests, please call this number." I called three times, and after over 10 minutes, someone finally showed up on the third attempt. The room itself was clean and spacious, with excellent air conditioning that cooled the space almost instantly. The TV offered a wide variety of channels, and the full-service kitchen included a stovetop—but unfortunately, no pots or pans were provided. The walls were very thin; we could clearly hear footsteps from the room above, especially late at night and early in the morning, which made it hard to sleep. On the plus side, the hotel is within walking distance of a mall that features several dining options.

The person responsible for the bedding purchases needs a raise. The best pillows I have ever had in a "budget" stay hotel. Kudos for that as I usually don't sleep well on the road becuase of the lack of comfortable pillows.

Tuscon South My Place Stay

Upon arrival the female receptionist barely spoke other than to yell the word "card" several times. Once I handed over bank card she requested an email address. Printed out a registration form highlighted the sections i had to intial no explanation given. I completed the form she then slammed the key to the room in a packet down on the counter and turned away. No explanation of layout of hotel ie lift location access doors from outside etc. A male employee arrived at the desk at this time and as i am already a member of this chain of hotels i asked didnt my membership details display. He was polite and said yes here is your free bottle of water enjoy your stay. After many weeks of travelling this was the rudeness treatment by member of hotel staff. Not the way you would want your Hotel represented to travellers.

This hotel was a great place to stay for our trip to Tucson. It was about 15mins away from UofA campus. It is very accessible from the highway and there are lots of places to eat nearby. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen area is great for extended stays. The parking lot is adequate and feels safe. We will definitely us this hotel again.

Hotel was clean and convenient. However, the room next to the main entrance road is VERY NOISY with street racing late at night. The police had to come and busted the group.
