It lies 1,950 kilometres to the north of Canberra, the capital of Australia.

Spend a few hours relaxing and reading your favourite book at Mission Beach or Dunk Island Beach.

Travel a little out of Tully and you'll be treated to some wonderful natural sights. Just 35 kilometres away, Rainforest and Reef Visitor Information Centre is a splendid spot to get some fresh air. You also can't lose with Clump Mountain National Park, 20 kilometres away from Tully.

Would you like to venture out a little bit? El Arish is 17 kilometres to the northeast of Tully and Silkwood is 25 kilometres to the northeast. Jump in the car and find out what's out there!

Cardwell, 40 kilometres to the south, is a great day trip. Use it as a base when visiting the Cardwell Bush Telegraph, the Cardwell Country Club and Port Hinchinbrook. If you're still not persuaded, other close by sights include the Girringun Aboriginal Art Centre and Girringun National Park.
