The hotel smelled really damp or mildewed. Front desk Staff not friendly at all. We had a car accident on the way to the hotel. No one from the hotel asked if we’re ok. I didn’t want to even asked questions. It was 2 guys at the front maybe working a 12 hour shift, not friendly at all! At one point maybe 2 ladies came to help still not a smile a hello a good bye a welcome…. Nothing… The security staff was very friendly. I didn’t like room service they brought the meal with no utensils to eat with. I love the area great walking distance to several stores and restaurants. Housekeeping was the best always friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed at several Alofts never felt so invisible. I loved my one bedroom with a terrace.

Aloft Tulum property is amazing and close to nearby restaurants, grocery stores and more. The staff is very helpful, and able to get you a taxi right away! 10/10 recommend. I would stay here again!

i was in Tulum on business and required Internet . I finally had to have the front desk log into their Internet for a one time use. The general wifi was not password protected .OOCH. im a Binvoy member but did not have my log in and password with me . in short no one cared to assist . in my numerous stays at the Hotel the facility was managed properly i may change Hotels next trip but assuming their Wifi is working and their is some help will return. in the past ive had no issues and enjoyed the Hotel . Wow what a gem! Thank you to Monica who has been incredible on all 3 trips to the hotel in 2 years! Rafael is a gem and will go out of his way to exceed your expectations Luis at the front desk is also amazing! Going above and beyond!c Clean new and well situated property! Beautiful roof top pool. Fairly priced and about a 25 minute bike ride to Downton Tulum! There is a Super Cheduri which is the equal whole foods in Mexico! This really is a no brainer! Book it You won't be sorry!
