On arrival the front desk staff checked us into the wrong room, leading us to walk into another persons space. No apologies were given just a whoops and a new card. Elevators don’t work half the time and when it does only one will get you to the floor with rooms. Front desk staff not friendly or accommodating. Tried to charge us 200 pesos in exchange for 4 quarters for laundry. No amenities in room, shampoo and conditioner empty and never filled. No condiments with coffee in room. Overall just not great!

Very clean and trendy hotel with a beautiful rooftop deck and infinity pool. The staff are friendly and the location is quite walkable. The one con is that the doors don’t seem to block out the sound that well

Good dinners but lacking overall

Checkin was slow. Dinner was great quality but few lunch options and pitifully few room service options. Room service also took 60 to 90 minutes. Pools are numerous but most were a bit crowded. Cocktails were generally not good, though some mocktails were tasty. Checkin and checkout were slow. Not an abundance of amenities or activities during the day

Great stay!!

We loved staying at Aloft Tulum. Great hotel, wonderful, rooftop pool, and within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. I would not recommend setting up your airport shuttle through them though. They didn’t show up for our ride to come home and we had to call a taxi at 4 AM.
