We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions. It is an older property but it is very comfortable. The beds are excellent and the facilities are ideal. There is a very good buffet breakfast available and a good bar downstairs. The staff are all very nice and I really can't fault this place. I have no hesitation in recommending staying here.

Lovely rooms and staff but insanely hot rooms

Nice rooms, great location, friendly staff. However heating is a nightmare, insanely hot in hotel rooms and no way to regulate temperature except leaving windows open constantly and even then was uncomfortably hot.

I had a relaxing stay. Bathroom was clean, with a huge tub. Room was quiet, clean, and quite warm. I opened a window to refresh. Only disappointment was the unanticipated January/Monday closure of many dining and drinking establishments nearby.
