This quaint cabin embraces the aesthetics of the natural desert. It opens out to desert mountain views, incredible sunrises, and dark starry nights. Enjoy a relaxing nature trail picnic overlooking the desert landscapes.Chuck’s Cabin is approximately 1000 sq ft. Built in 1950, it is designed as a mid-century cabin hence all rooms have high open beam ceilings. The décor is in traditional southwest style.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

Wonderful Home Base for Joshua Tree NP

Chuck's Place hit all of our marks: Clean and Comfortable; close to the National Park; a well-appointed kitchen (we prefer cooking in to dining out); and a responsive host. The home has got this sweet desert / southwest decor, and lots of modern amenities. Chuck's Place would also be very comfortable for 2 couples. Great views of the northern boundary of the park. Thank you for a wonderful home base for our trip!

The Perfect Desert Cabin!

My husband and I took a Road Trip from the Olympic Peninsula of Washington down to Twentynine Palms, CA for our Christmas Vacation this year. I found Chuck’s Cabin on the vrbo app and the interior and location of the property fit our needs perfectly! We loved this place! It is cozy, warm, clean and brightly painted, in a wonderful location. The desert scapes and mountains are incredibly soothing and the night sky is black, littered with constellations! We enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife, too! Everything a guest could want or need to prepare meals is provided. There is a washer and dryer on the back patio if you find yourself in need of such. Other thoughtful amenities include: a Weber gas grill, extra blankets, sufficient towels, nice bath toiletries, a Smart TV and library chock full of vhs videos to watch. Our hostess, Ash, is a delight to work with! At my request, she provided a fully lit and decorated tree for our Christmas pleasure. She is very accommodating, to be sure! Our destination point was Joshua Tree National Park. We are both retired NPS rangers and were in awe of the beauty of Joshua Tree. A truly amazing natural wonder of the desert and one not to be missed. The cabin is only minutes from one of three entrance stations into the national park. The price is perfect for a wonderful cabin all to yourself. Yes, we would definitely stay again! Thank you so much, Ash, for everything. Wishing you much success with your vrbo rentals.
